Dhaka Embarks on a New Journey, Photosensitive Materials Weave Printing Excellence

On September 2, 2026, the 25th Textech Bangladesh International Textile & Garment Technology Show grandly opened at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center. As an annual premier textile industry event in South Asia, it draws enterprises across the global textile printing industrial chain to Dhaka.Shenzhen TDscreen Electronics Technology (TDscreen) traveled to the South Asian market, showcasing its full range of core screen printing photosensitive consumables including photosensitive emulsions and stripping powder at the exhibition. We held face-to-face discussions with textile merchants and technical directors from Bangladesh and neighboring South Asian countries, demonstrating our R&D strengths in photosensitive materials tailored for textile printing, as well as one-stop comprehensive technical services including stencil-making processes and on-site technical guidance.

Textech Bangladesh is a highly influential professional commercial exhibition covering the entire textile and garment industrial chain in Bangladesh. It spans the full upstream and downstream links including fabric weaving, digital printing, screen printing, garment manufacturing and auxiliary supplies. Every year, it gathers numerous domestic and overseas equipment manufacturers and material suppliers, along with a large number of textile factory managers, printing workshop supervisors, foreign trade buyers and frontline technical engineers for visits and business negotiations.
Bangladesh stands as a major global production and export base for textiles and garments with a huge industrial scale. Screen printing and digital transfer printing are mainstream processes widely adopted for fabric pattern processing. Many local printing factories have long been plagued by challenges such as hot and humid workshop conditions, insufficient stencil print resistance and unstable stencil yield rates. There is strong market demand for photosensitive stencil-making consumables with high print endurance and good storage stability for textile printing.
Taking the Dhaka exhibition as a key overseas platform, TDscreen focused its display on special photosensitive consumables for textile printing. During the exhibition, the venue welcomed a steady stream of visitors with an energetic atmosphere for business matching and technical exchanges. The TDscreen booth received continuous visits from industry guests, including technical supervisors and workshop engineers of large local Bangladeshi textile printing mills, supply chain procurement managers of overseas apparel brands, as well as prospective regional agents and traders across South Asia. In-depth conversations centered on screen printing stencil materials and printing process applications.
This year, we highlighted mature models of photosensitive emulsions including TD-8500 and TD-LT, alongside a full set of supporting stencil-making consumables such as stripping powder. Formulated specifically for the practical working conditions of textile fabric printing, these photosensitive emulsions deliver excellent image resolution and high print runs per stencil. They perform reliably in the typical hot and humid workshop environments of South Asia with enhanced ambient storage stability, compatible with screen printing stencil production for cotton, linen, chemical fiber, blended fabrics and other common materials.
Our sales and technical team provided one-on-one reception for visiting merchants. We carefully learned about each client’s factory production conditions, and recommended suitable photosensitive emulsion models based on fabric types, exposure equipment parameters and year-round workshop temperature and humidity. We elaborated on key operational points across the whole stencil workflow: coating, exposure, development and stripping. Meanwhile, we offered full one-stop consumable support including sample testing, on-site process debugging and long-term remote technical follow-up.

Throughout the exhibition, a steady flow of industry technicians and supply chain partners visited our booth. We conducted in-depth discussions on multiple practical production topics: improving stencil yield for textile screen printing, selecting photosensitive emulsions for different printing scenarios, resolving common stencil defects such as pinholes and poor development caused by high temperature and humidity, and optimizing the overall production cost of printing.
After evaluating product performance and comparing sample specifications, many merchants requested samples on the spot. They recognized the stability and outstanding cost-performance of TDscreen photosensitive emulsions in humid and hot environments, confirming plans for sample delivery, subsequent online process coordination and business cooperation.
Participation in the Dhaka exhibition allowed the TDscreen team to gain direct insight into the real production demands of the South Asian textile printing market and collect abundant process feedback from frontline printing workshops. This accumulates valuable data for subsequent product iteration, clarifies directions to optimize consumables for South Asia’s hot and humid manufacturing environments, and further expands our network of distributors and end-user factory partnerships across South Asia.

The textile and garment industry in South Asia continues to develop steadily. Screen printing is widely applied in apparel fabrics, home textiles, decorative fabrics and other products, and high-performance photosensitive consumables are indispensable core materials in the stencil-making stage. This has long been TDscreen’s core R&D focus.
Building on the valuable exchange opportunities at Textech Dhaka, TDscreen will push forward on multiple fronts: continuously upgrading formulations of photosensitive emulsions for textile printing to enhance material stability and print endurance in South Asia’s humid and hot production environments; expanding the range of supporting consumables such as stripping powder and stencil-making additives to create full consumable packages for one-stop textile printing; and refining the overseas localized technical service system, covering pre-sales sample testing, on-site process guidance and after-sales remote technical support throughout the whole lifecycle of customer stencil use.
