| Product Name / Model | Laser‑Direct‑Imaging Emulsion CTS‑H08 |
| Appearance | Blue‑purple milky liquid, two‑component dual‑cure system (emulsion base + diazo photosensitizer) |
| Package | 5L plastic drum with matched diazo photosensitizer kit |
| Application | Two‑component dual‑cure emulsion for CTS computer‑to‑screen laser direct imaging.Ideal for high‑precision fine line and halftone stencils. Suitable for PCB, TP touch panel, glass cover‑plate, membrane switch, FPC and high‑grade nameplates. Compatible with solvent‑based, water‑based and UV inks for high‑end production requiring ultra‑high resolution & long print‑run life. |
| Features | Solid content:43‑44%; Viscosity:7500‑8000 cps @25 °C;Dry stencil thickness:3‑6 μm;Resolution on 350‑mesh yellow mesh:28‑34 μm;Minimum resolution on 420‑mesh yellow mesh:24‑29 μm;Dual water‑solvent resistance; excellent anti‑humidity, solvent & UV‑ink resistance;High sensitivity for CTS laser exposure, wide exposure latitude;Excellent leveling property, low Rz surface roughness after multi‑coating, outstanding halftone dot reproduction;Tough stencil film with sharp edge definition; longer print‑run than CTS‑H02; clean reclaiming without residual glue for high mesh recycling rate. |
| Storage & Shelf‑life | Store at 5‑25 °C in cool dark place. 12‑month shelf‑life for unmixed emulsion. Use sensitized emulsion within 7‑10 days after mixing. |
2. Operating Instructions
⚠️ Two‑component requirement: Operate under yellow safelight. Fully dissolve diazo photosensitizer, mix thoroughly into emulsion base, rest for 40‑60 min for defoaming before coating.
- Mesh Pretreatment Degrease mesh with degreaser. Roughen mesh with abrasive paste if needed for precision jobs. Roughening is recommended to be omitted for mesh above 400‑mesh to avoid mesh damage.
- Dry screen for use at 35‑40 °C (max.42 °C), ambient humidity 45‑55%.
- Coating & Drying (adjust passes as required) ‑ Ink‑side 2 passes + Print‑side 2 passes; dry 35‑40 °C, humidity 45‑55%, 10 min ‑ Ink‑side 1 pass + Print‑side 3 passes; dry 35‑40 °C, humidity 45‑55%, 10 min ‑ Ink‑side 0 pass + Print‑side 1 pass; dry 35‑40 °C, humidity 45‑55%, 10 min Net dry stencil thickness approx. 8‑9 μm. Adjust coating passes to achieve target film‑thickness for different applications.
- CTS Laser Exposure Determine optimal laser energy with exposure step‑wedge film. Insufficient energy causes poor solvent resistance and short print‑life; over‑exposure degrades fine dot & line resolution. Periodically verify laser power after parameters are confirmed. Rest screen for 1‑3 minutes after exposure.
- Development (Wash‑out) Wet both sides of screen with low‑pressure water (soak ≤1‑2 min), wait 1‑2 min. Spray print‑side with fan‑shaped low‑pressure water until full image and halftone dots are clearly visible.
Focus washing on print‑side. Avoid excessive rinsing on ink‑side to prevent pinholes & dot‑edge damage. Maintain water‑gun distance approx.60 cm from screen. Gently rinse ink‑side for 1‑2 min, wash away emulsion scum on both sides.
- Post‑development drying: 35‑40 °C (max.42 °C), humidity 45‑55%, for 20‑30 min.
- Screen inspection & repair. Secondary post‑exposure is recommended for maximum print durability for high‑end production.
- Block‑out the screen.
3. Storage, Handling & Safety Notes
Water‑miscible, non‑flammable, low environmental hazard. May cause mild skin irritation; low inhalation risk under normal temperature.
First‑aid measures
‑Inhalation: Low volatility, negligible inhalation hazard. ‑ Ingestion: Rinse mouth thoroughly. Do NOT induce vomiting. Seek medical attention if discomfort occurs. ‑ Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing, wash skin with soap and running water. ‑ Eye contact: Remove contact lenses. Flush eyes & eyelids with plenty running water for ≥15 minutes, seek medical help if irritation persists.
Personal Protection
Ensure good ventilation; handle under yellow safelight. No eating, drinking or smoking in working area.
Storage
Store at 5‑25 °C, avoid high‑temperature and direct sunlight.
After mixing with photosensitizer, emulsion activity drops rapidly. Finish usage within 7‑10 days; long‑term storage is forbidden.
